TIME | IED x Tesla

The audiovisual project is structured into five autonomous yet interconnected chapters, each inspired by one of the key design drivers that guided the development of the prototype created in partnership with Tesla.

Designed as the core content of an immersive installation at MAUTO – the National Automobile Museum of Turin – the video experience unfolds through a physical and narrative journey that retraces the stages of the students’ creative and development process. The videos explores: Future Mobility Scenarios, Vehicle Concept Development, Design Education and Methodologies, Interior and Exterior Design
Each chapter is housed within a dedicated physical capsule, within these environments, conceptual visions, sound design, interviews, project narratives, and elements of design aesthetics converge to create a hybrid language
that blends storytelling, research, and imagination.

At the heart of the narrative lies the concept of the “25th Hour,” a speculative framework that invites visitors to project themselves into future mobility scenarios and imagine the vehicle as an active and meaningful component of everyday life. Through this perspective, the prototype becomes not only a design exercise, but also a reflection on the evolving relationship between people, technology, and the spaces they inhabit.
